Annual General Meeting - 8th November 2022 Venue: State Library Geographe Room or online 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Dear members and friends of WAALC,
The Western Australian Adult Literacy Council would like to invite you to our AGM and unveiling of our strategic plan for 2023 to 2025.
The AGM bit takes about 15 minutes. In this time the executive committee members give a small report, and we also seek approval from financial members for the minutes from the previous meeting and treasures report. All positions are vacated, and new nominations are received. You will see with this invite, a nomination form. You need to be a financial member to be nominated and meet the criteria listed on the nomination form.
After the formalities are over, we would like to invite you to stay around and have a look at the strategic plan we have been working on over the last year and a half. The strategic plan is born out input received by those who participated in the various surveys over this time including feedback from the conference.
For members and non-members alike, we would value your input as we look at the practical ways, we might implement this plan so that we are meeting the needs of those working in literacy, numeracy and digital skills for adult learners. We will set aside 45 minutes for this.
Please consider attending. Feel free to contact WAALC for more information.
